Chicken Mango Salad Fiasco

Soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
Cooking class, it's a wonderful place. It smells good and we had a competition!

I chose the recipe for our group, which was chicken and mango salad! So exiting! It is actually.

Suddenly I can find a picture of every single recipe I've ever made except for the darn salad, so here's a picture of my dog. Does he have anything to do with the blog? No. Live with it.

And there were two secret ingredients to choose from, chocolate chips and corn flakes. Now you're probably thinking we just crushed some corn flakes and put it on top but no!
I had the ingenious (and I'm not being sarcastic for once) idea of melting the chocolate and adding it to the fresh mango dressing. You may be a little skeptical like the judges were at first but it worked splendidly! I am so proud of myself! *cheers*

I Don't Know How To Blog! (really selling myself aren't I?)

Because I have no life. (I wonder is there's a site called getalife.com?) (Just lying I don't wonder, I checked and it was a very disappointing site) So recap, I have no life, I make youtube videos and I have no idea how this blogging thing works.

I tried to write a new blog post before, but instead I created a whole new blog and now I can't delete it.

I am technologically hopeless.
I haven't really written anything because I didn't think it was going to go anywhere, but here I am! Trying again!

This week was more eventful than usual, I had an in class cooking contest. I think that story deserves it's own post!

Allow Me To Introduce Myself

Allow me to introduce myself, my name is Jade and I have an unhealthy obsession with owls.
Seriously, a part from the pictures, calendars, posters, hat, stuffed animals, pencil case, copybook and toys I have of owls, I even have a calculator.
Yes, you read me right, I have an owl calculator. 
I have the feeling this is beginning to get out of hand.

I used to think bloggers are just self important people that they are extremely interesting for no apparent reason.
I later realized I was wrong.
I'm not exactly expecting anyone to read my blog, but I read on many sites, part of making videos on youtube is having a blog and I want to put in every effort I can!

I should probably learn to be more optimistic.

On a lighter note, my friends Katie, Megan and I decided we would take over the world with living-dead-dragon-bunnies (my invention of a few years ago) and penguin shark mutants called Penarks and Sharkenguins. We also decided that once this happened, Bowling For Soup and Patent Pending would play in every club (I's liek the add Panic! At the Disco to the mix), penguins will have the ability to fly and that studying the lyrics ro Rise Against song would be in every English class curriculum.

That was fun.
